The turnaround time for our editing or proofreading services depends on the level of editing required, and the length and complexity of the document.
Typically, a document up to 100,000 words for proofreading would be a 14-day turnaround time, and proofreading up to a 200,000-word document would be a 21-day turnaround.
Turnaround times for line and copy editing vary, so we assess this during the sample edit.
I am more than happy to offer a sample edit on your document for 1,000 words or a chapter (whichever is lower).
Not only will this help you to see what I can do to polish your words, but I can also assess the level of editing required and provide information surrounding any changes made.
I am glad to confirm I am a trigger-free editor and also happy to edit scenes for 18+ readers (smut/erotica). However, I prefer to have the trigger warning list provided so I can cross-reference with the text and offer alternatives if required.
After extensive research on the differences, I am able to edit in both American English and British English and use appropriate style guides for consistency.
Yes!
While many style guides are available, I follow The Chicago Manual of Style for American English text and The Oxford Style Guide: New Hart's Rules for British English.
I selected these as the consistency is clear and easy to follow for both editing and providing referencing to my readers for clarity on changes made.
